Every lesson is tailored to your ability. Read the descriptions below and pick the level that sounds most like you — your instructor will confirm and fine-tune on the day.

Ski

Ski levels

  • First Timer — Never skied before.
    Learn the basics of skiing, including how to use your equipment, move around on skis, maintain balance, stop safely, and make your first turns.
  • Beginner — You know the basics and can ski on easy slopes.
    Build confidence on green runs, improve your speed control, link smooth turns, and learn to use beginner lifts comfortably.
  • Intermediate — You can link turns confidently on green runs.
    Develop stronger technique on steeper terrain, improve turn shape and control, and gain confidence on blue and red runs in a variety of conditions.
  • Advanced — You ski confidently with good speed control on most groomed terrain.
    Refine carving skills, improve performance on steeper slopes and challenging snow conditions, and explore moguls, terrain parks, or natural mountain features.
Snowboard

Snowboard levels

  • First Timer — Never snowboarded before.
    Learn the basics of snowboarding, including how to use your equipment, balance, slide, stop safely, and move around on flat terrain. You’ll also be introduced to side slipping and your first controlled movements on the snow.
  • Beginner — You’ve snowboarded once or twice and know the basics.
    Build confidence on gentle slopes, improve your balance and speed control, learn to use beginner lifts comfortably, and start linking your first turns.
  • Intermediate — You can make basic turns and control your speed on easy runs.
    Develop smoother, more consistent turns on blue runs, improve edge control and riding technique, gain confidence at higher speeds, and begin tackling steeper terrain.
  • Advanced — You ride confidently on most pistes and are comfortable on varied terrain.
    Refine carving technique, improve performance on steeper slopes, ride confidently in changing snow conditions, explore switch riding, powder, moguls, and terrain park features.
